Last Thursday, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) hosted their first-ever “Spring Thing” event, introducing three Houston-based music artists between 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. to UHCL in the backyard of our own Recreation and Wellness Center building.
In addition to the music artists, there were an assortment of other activities and attractions to also check out while there, including a rock climbing wall, face decorating, an inflatable pedestal joust arena, and complimentary food and snacks.
For those who either couldn’t make it or just want to know some more about the artists they saw, read on for a bit of information over those who performed there, as well as to see some photos taken by The Signal staff!

If you enjoyed your time with the bands, consider following and supporting them on their socials and at future performances.
And if you’re looking for more shows like this one we had on campus, I suggest stopping by Axelrad Beer Garden’s 11 year anniversary show this Saturday (just please don’t forget your hearing protection).
You can check out the lineup on their Instagram, @axelradhouston.
