Come One, Come All: Board Game Association “Carnival Night” taking place this Saturday

The UHCL Board Game Association’s (BGA) free-to-attend “Carnival Night” is set to take place this Saturday, April 18, from 5 – 9 p.m. in the UHCL Alumni Plaza, between the Bayou and SSCB buildings.

In keeping with the carnival theming, Carnival Night will feature a variety of activities and games including but not limited to: an obstacle course, a bounce house, and a dunk tank that will give participants the opportunity to submerge a few select UHCL faculty members.

Music will also be played throughout the evening, with DJ Zen in attendance and a live performance by The Signal’s very own AJY.

The BGA intends for this event to help with fundraising for newer student organizations on campus who could benefit from the additional support.

Food will be also provided at the event and can be purchased with tickets being sold for $1 each. These tickets will go towards the games at this event as well.

Alongside the attractions, merchant stalls from student vendors like Bethany Holderness, a.k.a. stomachache artistry, and student organizations will also be present. Prices of the items on offer may vary between each stall, as the vendors will not be taking tickets.

There will also be a select few non-student vendors present at the event, including Cana Tea & Coffee, Veera and Sons Toys, Heavens Stiches, and other local businesses.
