It’s nearly Finals Season for this Fall Semester and, if you’re not careful, the workload can quickly become overwhelming, especially when you might have multiple demanding assignments left to complete and be unsure where to start.
This can all sometimes be made even more overwhelming with the different approaches each professor takes with “finals.” While some require the more traditional exams, others have had their students working on projects throughout the semester. Some may even ask for both a final and submission of a “signature assignment” as they’re sometimes called. Regardless, everything the semester has been building up to is almost here.
For these reasons, anyone who feels like they’re need in of extra support may do well to consider visiting the Student Success Center (SSC) on campus.
The SSC, according to their website, provides services for “classes from all four Colleges at UHCL and offers students one-on-one appointments, drop-in tutoring, or online sessions.”
Also listed on the website is their number (281-283-2450) as well as office locations (SSCB 3102 and Bayou Building 2127) and coinciding work hours, all of which can be viewed here.
There’s no better time to take advantage of campus resources than the most work-heavy time of the semester, so don’t hesitate to call, visit, or email and see if you can make your school life less stressful.
