Mercury Chamber Orchestra set to return to UHCL Bayou Theater

On October 30th, the Mercury Chamber Orchestra is coming to UHCL to perform Vivaldi’s Four Seasons as part of their 2025-26 Fall Season Tour.

“I think people should attend because we are offering the unique opportunity to see artists who regularly perform at some of the biggest performance spaces in Houston, but in their own backyard in a more intimate setting,” said Stephen Davis, Director of Theater and Cultural Arts at UHCL, when asked about why people should attend the performance.

In addition to playing at some of Houston’s largest performance venues, the Mercury Chamber Orchestra has been hosted by UHCL’s Bayou Theater in the past, including just a few months ago with another program featuring well-known pieces from Vivaldi . According to the orchestra’s website, “The (2025-2026) season is designed for you to hear the works you love AND discover new favorites.”

The Bayou Theater is currently offering a BOGO half-off student ticket-only deal to UHCL students who use code “Signal” at checkout.
