Early registration for the Spring 2026 semester ends today so, if you haven’t already, you should schedule an appointment with your advisor as soon as possible.
Even though open registration period will remain open for the next couple months, ending in early January, it is best to get ahead of schedule and have everything sorted out before classes begin filling up, as they tend to do so much earlier than the registration deadline. Another thing to take note of is that reaching the registrar or your advisor over the winter break may be difficult or downright not possible, which is all the more reason why you should schedule to meet with your advisor and register for your classes well in advance, especially in the event you have any follow-up questions post-meet.
Also, for those who feel like they have no need to schedule with an advisor, current methods of registering for and choosing classes aren’t always the most accessible or easy to understand for the average student. And sometimes, scheduling an appointment with your college advisor can be the only way to register for certain classes.
For this reason alone, you should at least check and see if you can access the classes you need.
To schedule a meeting with your advisor, you can do so through an app called “Navigate360 Student” on the Apple App Store and Google Play store. All you have to do is, once installed, type in “University of Houston-Clear Lake” when prompted to type in your school’s name, and then login with the same username and password you use to sign in to your other UHCL accounts.
For those without access to a mobile device, or who are unable to install the app for any reason, you can access Navigate360 right here.
The payment deadline for early and open registration is Jan. 6 at 5 p.m, and Jan. 21 at 5 p.m. for late registration.Â
This time of year can be very stressful, so hang in there and register for your classes early in order to avoid any more stress than necessary.
