Clear Lake HS Falcons keep win streak against Clear Creek HS Wildcats in decisive victory

The Clear Lake HS Falcons took care of business against the Clear Creek HS with a 59-36 blowout victory over the Wildcats last Tuesday night.

“We knew that if we did certain things defensively, that they (Wildcats) would struggle, and that showed tonight”, Head Coach Tommy Penders stated postgame. The victory marks back-to-back victories for the Falcons, and bumps their season Win-Loss record up to 22-10.

As for Clear Creek, the Wildcats have been on a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games, putting them at a Win-Loss record of 7-21 for the season.

“If you concentrate on the little things like getting deflections, rebounds and taking quality shots, you’re going to have a great chance at winning,” said Coach Penders.

The Falcons will look to win 3 out of their last 4 games as they take on the Clear Falls HS Knights tomorrow at 7pm in another important home game after suffering a loss Friday night against the Clear Brook HS Wolverines.
